• The VCR-X4M Interlocking Lock is an auxiliary device designed to ensure that the doors of a room cannot be opened simultaneously, thereby ensuring isolation between clean and non-clean areas.
• The VCR-X4M Interlocking Lock is a type of interlocking lock used to control 4 doors simultaneously, functioning similarly to other locks where when one door is open, the other doors must close. However, currently, there is very little demand for this type of lock in the market.

Operation of the VCR-X4M Interlocking Lock

• When one door is opened, the other two doors will automatically close, ensuring that three doors cannot be opened simultaneously.
• If a door remains open for an extended period without closing, a warning bell will sound to remind employees to close the door.
• In case of a power outage, and for electronic interlocking locks, all three doors can be opened, ensuring user safety.
• In emergency situations, the emergency button can be pressed to force the doors to open.

• The interlocking lock control unit will be installed on the ceiling panel, connected to a pre-existing power outlet (the shorter the distance between the control unit and the power outlet, the better, to save on wiring costs).
• The indicator light will be mounted on the panel wall, in an easily observable area for entry/exit, typically installed next to the panel door.
• The lock bolt will be installed underground inside the panel wall (requires drilling and concealed wiring) and can be mounted on either the side or the top of the door frame.
• The latch positioning plate will be attached to the door leaf, corresponding to the lock bolt installation area.

Additionally, there are some important installation considerations for interlocking locks:

1. Securely install the signal connection wires to the lock bolt and indicator light.

—> Error Alert: The alarm will sound loudly and continuously.

2. Install the lock bolt and latch positioning plate in the same direction (indicated by WiFi symbol) on both accessories.

—> Error Alert: The latch will not function.

3. Do not reverse the signal wires between the indicator and lock bolt.

—> Error Alert: Unable to install. The signal wire of the lock bolt is usually slightly thicker than the wire of the indicator; please take note during installation.

4. Use wire protection boxes and conduits to protect signal wires on the ceiling, preventing damage by insects. Signal wires are different from power wires, and reconnecting them if damaged can be challenging.
